Creationism in a UK classroom

Is this what you want your child learning instead of science? Do you think this will prepare them better for the world they live in? If this isn't a form of child abuse I'm not sure what is.

For what it's worth, there are many Christians who believe in evolution and an old earth and universe. About 95%+ of all scientists who self identify as evangelical Christians believe in evolution/Old Earth. I would not want my child being taught as these children are taught. However, I believe in the freedom to believe as one wishes. Besides, statistics show that when these children, who are being indoctrinated, go to university, they often change their belief construct when challenged with the proof of science.

The Bible is not meant to be book of science and the people who preach this are both naive and wrong. The Bible is a book of faith and should be used as such. I know that this is a site for atheists but i wanted to get my two cents in as a token evangelical.

This is so disturbing. Less religion, more love. I feel great pity for the children growing up in this school. :(
